need to put logos into PPT, which format and program?...

I'm trying to get logos to appear properly in PPT.

The bitmap formats look good, but don't scale well, or look good when
resulotions change.

I've tried eps, which doesn't look good onscreen. I've tried other vector
formats, which at least on the Mac, look terrible.

What's the majic bullet for getting a logo into PPT, where it prints well,
projects well, and can scale?...

I have alswes found that a GIF format looks good on a overhead projector when
using powerpoint.
