My computer crashed and I took it to the shop. They installed a second hard
drive. I was told that I could access my data from the hard drive and move it
to the new drive. I have done just that and placed it in the new hard drive.
I have an address book in Outlook that I need. How do I obtain the address
book in my old drive and place it in my new hard drive, specifically where my
Outlook is. I assume I must import it, but I don’t know what the address book
looks like or where to get it. Please Help.

Are you referring to Outlook or Outlook Express?

All of your Outlook data (including your address book which is called Contacts)
is contained in one file, usually named outlook.pst. If you search using *.pst,
you may also find archive.pst, which is where the content of user designated
folders are archived.

You have to allow hidden files to be visible via Folder Options to find these
files.

Once it's found, launch Outlook and open the data file at its location (no need
to move it). One can then use drag & drop to copy your Contacts folder to the
new setup. Importing is not recommended. After you've finished transferring the
data you want, close this file.
