Need to get XP restore going

I have restore points to fix the registry, but I cannot get the restore
tool to open. I also get a message on bootup: Curtains for Windows Service
Launcher (NT) had to close. I have no services or admin tools showing.

Please don't post in HTML. What you have posted means nothing. That is a
generic error. What does the event log say immediately after a failed
attempt to open system restore?
