Need to force a re-install of OE on XP Pro

I have an XP Pro system which developed some bad sectors that a disk scan
repaired. However, now it is unable to email with either Outlook 2003 or
Outlook Express 6. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling both products,
but I still am unable to configure accounts in either product.

Is there a surefire way to force the IE install to get Outlook Express
installed. Outlook 2003 seems fine if the underlying email components were
to be installed. I think a proper Outlook Express install would fix both.

For one: bad sectors will not be 'repaired', but marked as unusable. Files
will attempt to be repaied, however there is not guarantee.

Take time to investigate changing the hard drive, get a reatil package that
includes the disk cloning sofwtare, I suggest MAXTOR or SEAGATE.

You will then need to perform a repair install of Windows.

This should rectify OE and thus Outlook should function as well.
