Need to delete Purity Scan

Some while ago, cyber space "donated" Purity Scan to my
system. I've since learned that it contains spyware and
that trying to delete it using "Add/Change Programs" does
not remove it but rather hides it. Additionally, I once
found an article describing this whole mess and how to
deal with it but due to poor housekeeping I lost it. Has
anyone else experianced this and/or know how to totally
kill this little bug.

To remove spyware, use tools like Spybot Search & Destroy
(www.security.kolla.de) and/or Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com).
