NEED TO CLEAR CMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi, I need to clear cmos. forgot password.. there is no
jumper. don`t know about battery either.. was wondering
is there a utility that you can use to clear cmos.. for
forgotton passwords.. seen about debug.exe..looked to
complicated. To much stuff to remember all the time. was
just wondering if there is a easyer way to go about
this,,Thanks Alot.. any help would be great!!!
 
Your question has nothing at all to do with Windows 2000.
Try this:
- Repost in a hardware group.
- Read your motherboard manual very carefully
 
I'm pretty sure most CMOS manufacturers have a universal password to gain
access in case your find yourself in this predicament. Do a google search
and you'll probably find something. I've had to do this several times in
the past.
 
No. Each BIOS manufacturer uses his own. Worse again,
they use different passwords for different generations of
BIOSs. That's why the OP should repost in a hardware
group, to get the best possible advice.
