need to boot from other drive...

Heres the situation:

2 HDs: we'll call em 6GB and 80GB.

Currently, 6GB is master and 80GB is slave.
Computer boots off of 6GB; windows XP, as well as
everything else is on 80GB.

I'll be installing a new MoBo soon, and while this jerry-
rigged setup has worked for now, i'd like to have the
computer boot off of 80GB.

How do i change over the boot records so i can set up
80GB as master and 6GB as slave?

Any easy solutions?
Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure i know how to actually change the master/
slave drives around, but what exactly would i change on
the boot.ini after switching it to the 80GB HD?

You would add a line in the [operating systems] section with the appropriate
rdisk parameter. Following is an example:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="XP Pro Drive2" /fastdetect
