need the windows xp home ed. cd any1 help

i lost my windows xp home ed. cd! and my labtop's harddrive is ifeced and i
have to wipe it but i dont want to spend 200$ to replace windows xp i have
the key all i need is a replace ment cd!

If your Windows CD was a Retail version:
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and
product upgrades, or replace product manuals"

If it was an OEM/SB version, contact the vendor.
 
His HD isn't feced, its ifeced. Anyways, Derrick, just find a friend with a
similar version and have them make a copy for you.

You should make a reinstall the last thing you try; with an OEM copy of
XP, you'll possibly lose all personal data.

But if you press F12 during the Bootup, you might find an option to
repair or reinstall the system. This works when the OEM places the
needed files on the hard drive.. and would explain your inability to
find an XP installation CD.
