Need Text Box with "Continued on..."

G

Guest

I am creating a newsletter with Word 2000, and would like to have my linked
text boxes automatically insert the "Continued on page#" and "Continued from
page#", as the text frames do in Publisher, when I change the shape of the
boxes.

Alternatively, is there a way to include hyperlinks in a Publisher doc?

I don't know of a way to have the continued text automatically appear in Word
text boxes. In Publisher you can right-click on the text box and select
format textbox and click on the Text box tab and select the features there.

When I do my newsletter I have hyperlinks in the titles on the front page to
take the reader to that particular area of the newsletter and I have
hyperlinks for e-mail addresses and web pages as well. In Publisher just
click on Insert|Hyperlink.

I hope this has been helpful to you.

Thanks Carol.

I'm using Publisher 2000 and there is (it seems) no Insert>Hyperlink command
available.

No such commands for me. I assume the problem is I'm creating newsletter, not
a webpage. I want to have hyperlinks bc we send this newsletter out via pdf
and want people to be able to access web content.

I will probably have to insert hyperlinks in Adobe.

thx

In 2000, highlight your text or select your graphic and right-click and
choose hyperlink from there. I think you can also use Ctrl + K for
hyperlinks too. See:

In that case, I suggest you post a question in an Adobe Acrobat newsgroup.
I'm sure that they could help you.

If you are actually using Publisher rather than Word, then the feature is
already available.

She's kind of been back and forth between the two program. She wants to do a
"Continued on page..." in Word but can't. She also asks about Insert
Hyperlink in Publisher 2000, which isn't an option for newsletters.
