Hi there
not good at VB scripts at all and wondering if someone can help me. I'm
looking for a script that when a domain user logs onto their pc they get a
screen that is the size of their desktop that has formatted text in the
middle of it, a tick box below the text and an OK button at the bottom
(preferably I don't want the user to have the X option at the top right hand
side of the screen at all).

Basically the plane is that this would be applied by group policy and would
pop up directly after they logon and would prevent the user from accessing
their pc until they had agreed to the text displayed and clicked OK.

Any ideas welcome...

You could use this script:
Dim strCaption, strMsg, iMode, iResponse, strNL
strNL = Chr(10)
strCaption = "Gizmo Enterprises"
strMsg = "This computer is subject to the standar terms" & strNL _
& "and conditions of Gizmo Enterprises." & strNL & strNL _
& "I agree that I have read the above legal notice."
iMode = vbYesNo + vbExclamation + vbSystemModal

Do
iResponse = MsgBox (strMsg, iMode, strCaption)
Loop Until iResponse = vbYes

Hi Pegasus

many thanks for that....
is there any way to set the size of the display box to be at least 90% of
the screen size or for it to be 800 x 600 pixels??

Many thanks again

You can change the width of the box by creating longer lines (i.e.
by padding them with spaces etc). The hight is determined by the
number of lines you display. Lots of empty lines would create
a much bigger box.

I have a vague recollection that there is a policy about concurrent/
non-concurrent logon script modes. One of them will not proceed
until the logon process is complete.

Cheers Pegasus...you the man
I'll have a bash off that

again many thanks.....
