Need some brain power...

I have a Win 2K Adv Server with 4, 36 gig Ultrawide SCSI drives on an
Adaptec 29160 card. Drive 1 has my OS and Drive 2 has my WEBS. Drives 3
and 4 are empty. Drive 1 is starting to give me some grief so I want to
implement some sort of hot-swappable (or similiar) backup system so IF drive
1 craters, I can be back up in as short a time as possible.

I have ArcServe 2000 but it does not seem to support backing up to a SCSI
drive, only a tape drive.

I've tried Second Copy but don't like the way it "takes over" the server.

Of course I've used Windows backup to make a backup of my drives, but that's
leave me re-OSing the server and then restoring.

I guess what I'm looking for is advise and other options I have no
considered.

Thanks for all your help.

I would install an alternate copy of the O/S on drive 2, 3, or 4.

Boot the alternate copy and use NTBackup to backup Drive to one of the other
disks.

Replace drive 1.

Using the alternate install, restore drive 1.
