Need some basic RAID advice

I usually custom build my computers as video edit suites with one SATA drive
in IDE mode with the OS then 2 more SATA drives in RAID0 for my footage...
well I've tried to build 2 new systems in the past month and the RAID
controllers on both of them were basically all RAID or all IDE. Is it not
possible to mix these anymore? Or have I just been purchasing the wrong
mb's?

Nevermind... I was a bit hasty in this post... I did have one motherboard
that was all RAID or nothing at all, and the one I'm working on now has the
exact same interface but I did find what I needed in the sub-menu to do what
I want...
