Need Simple Version of CRM

Hello,
I have set up Outlook Business Contact Manager. It's doing much of what I
need, except store specific customer data. I need the ability to customize
forms to store user defined customer data. I understand that customized
forms are not supported in the current version of BCM. I've looked at
Microsoft CRM, and it seems overwhelming. All I need is customized forms.
I'm running a volunteer organization and just need to keep tract of my
volunteers from various organizations. Please point me in the right
direction. I don't need a fortune 500 CRM solution.

My suggestion would be to wait for BCM V3 for the customization option

Small Biz Edition, full CRM Edition and works with or without Exchange
Server Account. Exchange Server requried to share data with other
colleagues, but hosted Exchange Server with Public Folder option works great.
Price is reasonable. Highly customizable too.

What is your best guess then BCM V3 will be released? How long ago was V2
relased.

BCM V3 is scheduled to be released with Office 12 (late spring 06)

BCM V2 was released on July 05
