How do I find out my POP3 server name and/or my IMAP server name. I am
looking for a job and sometimes Windows asks me this when I try to reply to
an email address. I will also write to Compuserve.

Thank you.

Compuserve has no plans to be compatible with Vista.

Your server names depend on who your email provider is. Most
internet accounts include one or more email accounts, so you
might try your internet provider first. Also, mail sent through an
internet provider that is tough on spammers sometimes gets more
attention in job applications than mail sent through one of the free
email providers who isn't tough on spammers. Ask your email
provider for their instructions on how to set up to use their email
servers. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail
yet, their instructions for Outlook Express should also work under
Windows Mail as long as they don't call for the HTTP protocol.
The instructions are probably somewhere on their web site. Or,
you could tell us who your email provider is and see if anyone here
already knows where to find their instructions.
