Need Printer for Photo Booth Project

Hello,

I am building a Photo Booth and I am looking for the best printer for
it. I have experimented using a normal ink jet printer. The quality
is great and the cost per 4x6 is reasonable, but it also has problems.
The paper tray holds 30 max and with heavy use the ink cartridges need
to be frequently monitored. Here are my ideal specs:

1. Good color photos (photo realistic not needed)
2. Can hold a lot (250?) 4x6 sheets
3. Uses non-proprietary paper
4. Cartridges reasonable price
5. Cartridges good for 250+ 4x6 prints
6. Prints in under 30 secs
7. Printer is less than $300

Am I dreaming? Any ideas of printers that come close?

Thanks,
Gary

I've seen roll feeds for Epsons.

In theory, one could probably make a continuous sheet feeder for the
lower cassette feed on a Canon Pixma.

For ink, you could use some form of Continuous Flow System.
