Help - I need just a copy of the msvcrt.dll - customer's
computer has a 50Kb version with 8-15-01 date , error
messages galore, and they didn't bring the OS cd - any
clue where to download this?

Have you tried searching for it on the web, eg Yahoo

With such a file, covered by the file Protection, easiest is usually
just to rename it, say as msvcrt.dl

File protection will replace it within seconds from the cache - reboot
to bring that one into use (and delete the renamed one)
