Need more than 3Meg of virtual memory

Hi all.

Why do I see a popup window telling me that I need at
least 3M of virtual memory. How do I make it go away??

Do you get the pop-up when tying to run a specific application? Some
applications REQUIRE a swap file, even if you have tons of memory.

Do you have a swap file set? I have 2GB RAM and still have a swap file set
aside as programs do require it.

If you don't have a swap file set on your boot (windows) drive, set one up
through system properties/advanced.

Photo editing and other art applications need to be able to store your
various versions of the image, so you can "go back" to an earlier version.
This is too much to ask of RAM alone.
