Need java

I loaded winxp and now cannot play any yahoo, or other
games online that load with java. Can nayone help please?

i installed " Java Web Start " i can play at yahoo. The

java is jacked up and usually causes an error to where
you go to task manager and end program. When I find what I

Lori, you might go to Start/Run and type in "wjview" without the quotes. If
it shows you less than build 38.10 of the Microsoft's Virtual Machine (java)
or none at
all, take a look at this web page for details and download locations:

Also, make sure you visit the Windows Update web site to get your system
current with all the security fixes. It is imperative you are running the
built-in Internet Connection Firewall (take a look in Help and Support for

how to protect your computer.
