need install CD for reinstall

My computer came with XP Home installed and a sticker with the code on the
machine, but not an install CD. My registry is corupted and I want to try
booting from the CD and reinstalling the OS to fix it. Will microsoft send me
a CD without paying the full price? Where do I go?

You go back to the OEM (the system builder) for your PC and ask them for the
CD.
The may supply one and may charge for this
