Hi all, when i turn on my computer i get a green box (spywareguard) is trying
to install, this is ok. When i switch users to my brothers side he gets 3-4
green boxes and then a blue and then a red box, My problem is i don't know
what to do with the blue box, url search hook(MSAS you can allow this change
if it is recognized) but i don't know what it is so i block it all the time.
Now the red box, IBIS toolbar is trying to install(internet explorer shell
browser) nothing else is said from MSAS about what this is . So i need help
on where to look for this thing to stop the red box, i wrote the forum
month's ago about the same problem. My protections are MSAS- AVGFREE-
SPYWAREGUARD-and BLASTER- AD-AWARE- SPYBOT and CCLEANER. Yes i've scanned in
and out of safe modes, I don't know where to look for this internet explorer
shell browser(red box). Another question is since it doesn't happen on my
side, is this ibis toolbar only on his side. thank you for some help

Hi Ron,

Also try this

This is a AndyM (e-mail address removed)
or Ron Kinner case beacuse I cannot find any good advice within any forum
without using HijackThis and to be carefully guided.
Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe
http://computercops.biz/HijackThis.html

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select Scan and Save Log.
Note where you saved the log then send it to him as an attachment. Put
Hijack in the subject so he'll know it's not spªm.

Alternatively you can post it on the Dell Forum ªt:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack

(if it wraps you can go tº:

http://tinyurl.com/ckuzq instead.)

Put Ron in the subject so he will see it. You do not need to have a Dell to
post but you will need to register.
