just guessing here, but was it your Firewall program that you clicked on to
block access? Opera itself shouldn't be the problem.
Depending on what firewall you use, there should be an option that lets you
see the settings you've made for programs and change that from Deny to
Allow.
In ZoneAlarm, for instance, double clicke the the ZA icon in the taskbar.
Select Program Control on the lefthand side, then the Programs tab. Find
Opera, in the column marked Access - Internet, click on the red X (Blocked)
and select the green checkmark (Allow). You're back in Business.
If you're the Windows firewall, someone else will have to chime in with the
correct steps, I don't use it.
