I have windows xp pro and my built in sound card isnt
working and I need some help tring to get it back.

If you expect help from this forum, you need to make
a post that gives the potential respondent some kind of clue:
Did it ever work?
If so, what happened right before it stopped?
Any unusual status in the device manager?
Any messages in the event viewer?
etc,etc.
