Why is it that Netscape 7.1 does not load on Windows 2000 program? If there is a way to get it to run, would very much some help with this problem.

I have no problem to run Netscape 7.1 on windows2000Pro /w SP4 (US English) on IBM Thinkpad A20m.
So, if you try to install what happens?
also what is problem state?

Netscape runs well on Win2000.

Clearly you are doing something wrong.

With no information about your system, or exactly how you are trying to
install Netscape 7.1, or what happens - including exact error messages,
if any - when you try, noone can help you.

There is a wealth of info about installing Netscape at:

Thank you for your help. But I think I know what has
happened. I have both Windows 98se and Windows 2000 Pro.
What happens is that Netscape will install on the Windows
2000 but when I click to log onto Netscape all it does is
just gives me an hour glass and then nothing.

I have figured that it is because I have both windows 98se
and windows 2000 pro. What happens is that when I click on
to get the Netscape browser, all I get is an hourglass and
then nothing happens.

do you mens dual boot with windows 98 and 2000?
Did you install Netscape file at same location?
If so just install Netscape file to separate locations.
also on windows 2000 pro, can you check any error in event viewer?
