Need help with windows error

When i try to install something, this is what i get.

c:windowssystem32autoexe.nt
The system file is not suitable for running Ms-Dos and microsoft
windows applications. The press close

Well, i have used these programs and they worked on other computers
and one of these even worked last year on the same computer.

What do i do to fix this?

Try installing xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:
VERIFY ON Then type:Sfc /Scannow When the utility is thru,type:
CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,then type:EXIT Remove xp cd,restart computer.

Copy the autoexec.nt file from C:\Windows\Repair to C:\Windows\System32.
And set Attributes for autoexec.nt to Read-only

Click>Start>Run and type or copy and paste this without quotes:
"cmd /c copy /y %windir%\repair\autoexec.nt %windir%\system32"
