Need Help with Subforms

Application has six sub-forms based on tables with all YES/NO values.
Customer wants checkboxes on form.

The data is tied to a table with stored values for either checked or
not-checked (YES/NO)

The problem -- the form loads and shows all the checkboxes greyed out.
Selecting one gets an error message -- but then all the boxes go from greyed
to their actual state.

Give us a little help here.

What is the Recordsource of your mainform? Of the subforms? What are
the Master and Child Link Fields? What error message do you get?

grey: Null Value = either the default is Null or no Data

In your case I think there is no Data, but without more information
about the form and subform it's only guessing
