Need help with error message

I am logged onto the network at work and an error message comes up and says:
there is an IP address cnflict with aanother system on the network...does
this mean that I am logged onto 2 different computers at the same time?

No. Two computers have the same IP address. Change it:

1. Go to control panel.
2. Double Click on Network Connections.
3. Right Click Local Area Connection and select Properties.
4. Select Internet Protocol (TCP / IP). Select the text, not the checkbox.
5. Click properties.
6. Click on the radio button next to "Obtain an IP address automatically"
and "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
