Malcolm

I had already enabled "Autocomplete", I understand how
that works from data entered in previous cells.
What I need is something that works similar to the way a
formula would, wherein I create a list of "AutoTexts" i.e
various words like window, door, frame, hardware, etc.
Not same as "Autocomplete"
When I save the document as a template and then open a
new workbook and beginning inserting data, if I type "f",
I would like to see "Frame" or if type "h", I
get "Hardware".
I hope this is more clear for you to understand my dilemma
Please help me if you can,

Many Thanks,
Malcolm

Excel doesn't have AutoText like Word.

Maybe you could use Autocorrect.

F$$ could be corrected to Frame
H$$ to Hardware

(Use any string you want, but not one that'll come up in standard typing.)
