and deleted two software programs from my computer. they
are Arcsoft photoimpression 4. what can i do?

Hi, Kathy.

I don't think those are WinXP files. They may have been added by the
computer maker or dealer. Did you get some CD-ROMs with your computer? You
should be able to find the missing files there and either copy them or
reinstall the applications that install them.

Hi Kathy:

I am not familiar with that particular program, but hopefully you have the
original CD for it - from which you can do a re-install. However, make sure
it is really gone first. Click on START / ALL PROGRAMS and see if it is
listed. Also, do a search of your hard drive.

Good luck.

Hi Kathy
You can try and do a "System Restore" (See Windows Help for instructions) from the last automated check point before you deleted the programs. This may resolve your problem.
If by chance, you have installed or your computer came with Norton Utilities 2003, you can run the Norton Undelete on the Recycle Bin and recover your program files.

My only question is how in the world did you manage to delete programs in
your attempt to delete cookies???????? To delete cookies, all you have to do
is open control panel and internet properties and hit the delete cookies
button.
