Need help uninstalling alternative user input

I printed out KB Article 282599 "Frequently asked questions about Ctfmon.exe"
and followed the steps to prevent Ctfmon.exe from running. However, when I
got to the final step to Run>Regsvr32.exe /u msimtf.dll, I received an error
message.

DllUnregisterServer in msimtf.dll failed. Return code was: 0x80004005.

What do I do now?

Instead, Control Panel - Regional and Language, Languages page, click
Details, Advanced page check 'Turn off advanced text services'
 
I did as you instructed. Do I need to worry about the error I received before
(Run>Regsvr32.exe /u msimtf.dll)? I was able to Run Regsvr32 /u on the
msctf.dll file. Will running it on one file and not the other cause a problem?
