Need help to uninstall a program

I have been unable to remove Earthlink Total Access 2004 from Add or Remove
Programs in Control Panel. I complete the process and get a pop-up
indicating the removal was successful. However, after re-starting, this
program still appears in my directory with lots of sub-folders and files and
in the Add or Remove Programs. So apparently the uninstall did not work and
I am back where I started. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in
advance. Fran

Fran, go to C:\Program Files. Look for the Earthlink Folder and delete
it. Then go to Start>Run type: msconfig click Ok
and select Startup Tab. Uncheck any reference to Earthlink. Then
finally go to Start>Run type: regedit click Ok
Go to Hkey_Local_Machine\Software and look for any Earthlink Folders.
Delete them. Same in
Hkey_Current_User\Software.
