Need help Plz - Error message Importing a txt file via Wizard

I have been importing txt files into Access2000 just fine before in our
office upgraded the system with Windows XP and Access2002-2003.

Now when I try to import, I get the following error message:

"One of more rows of data in your file contains too many charaters to
import. The maximum characters per row is 65000".

Nothing has changed as for my text file, no additoanl characters or data has
been added. please help.

Recent versions of Access seem to be more particular about the text file
formats they will accept.

Things to look out for include:

1) The newlines (record separators) in the text file. These must be the
Windows standard CR+LF, Chr(13) & Chr(10). If the text file comes from a
non-Windows system it may well use something else, typically Chr(13) alone
or Chr(10) alone.

2) Null bytes - Chr(0). Fields in fixed-width text files need to be padded
with spaces - Chr(32) - and not nulls.

Also, don't rule out the possibility of some problem with the particular
file you're importing. Can you import it satisfactorily into Access 2000?
