Win 2K - Pentium III - Plenty of HD, and cache - Cache cleaned - temp
files empty - history cleaned - etc etc etc Everything I can think of.
Ran current Spybot and current Adaware also. Zone Alarm Security Suite
Active. Norton AV.

www.ebay.com not loading correctly with Netscape 7.1 or with Explorer
6.0. Probably other stuff also. www.ty.com has two links towards the
bottom of the page that are no longer visible but when you pass the
curser over where they were/are the link is active and works.

Look at http://dchadduck.photosite.com/ Win2K Problem folder, and you
will see what happens with both browsers. When I do a search I get the
same results. It happens on my wife's Netscape profile and on mine and
also on the family Explorer profile. Figure it has to to be a Win2k
thing rather than Browser. My daughter has a virtually identical set up
and it works fine. Have been unable to find what is different between
the two set ups.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I've reached the limits of my
knowledge on this subject. Thanks Doug C.

Hi Doug,

We had similar issue in the office a few weeks back, we also had problems
conneting to particular websites alltogether. What sort of connection process
do you have?

It may be one of two things in my mind,

1. The objects in the page that are not loading maybe "unsafe" and being
filtered by some form of firewall ... be it hardware or software.

2. The problem we had was caused by a dodgy router/modem ... we has this
exchanged under warenty and the problem stopped occuring.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers, Rob

Grumble grumble. Thought I'd checked with Zone Alarm off but guess not.
With ZA firewall protection shut down from within the program, but with
the program still running, I still have the problem. But if I shut off
ZA 100% then things will load right. Gonna have to do some more learning
about ZA. It seems like things work and work and work then all of a
sudden don't and it turns out to be ZA. I don't remember changing
anything in ZA and my wife says this just started happening a couple
weeks ago. Oh well, at least I know now which drawing board I'm going
back to.

Thanks Rob, for the response. Lovin' my Broadband. Spoiled on it.

Doug
