Don Burnette
I recently upgraded my system with a new mb, cpu, vid card.
Did a clean install of XP Pro SP2, and have all the updates.
I notice in event viewer, it generates the following application error, from
the time stated it appears to happen when I shut down my pc.
Is this something I should be concerned about? I am not sure what service it
might be referencing...
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1517
Date: 2/22/2006
Time: 8:24:21 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: DON-7D6D ( removed part of the computer name)
Description:
Windows saved user DON-7D6D\Don registry while an application or service was
still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's
registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no
longer in use.
This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring
the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

Would appreciate any tips, thanks.
