need help on reformatting.

trying to reformat my drive, anyone help me on a step by
step process to reformat and install xp home edition or a
web page to go to that spells this out,

any information appriciated, thanks, (e-mail address removed)

You should be able to boot from the XP cdrom.
Once you initiate the instal, there should be an option to
format the drive and start fresh.

Just enter your CD with XP home, follow instruction,
choose new installation
