need help mp9 not working

A few days ago my media player stop working and I dont
know why. Whenever I try to play any type of media file
I get a error report instead of a player. I tried to
uninstall it and reinstall but that didn't work. I think
it has something to do with internet explorer. Has anyone
ever have this problem? please help!
