Need Help! (Media Player)

Can anyone help me? My Media Player (version 10) is
driving me crazy... it only displays a small portion of
the video and then the screen goes black. The video
continues to play, and sound is present, but the screen
goes black. I've checked settings and reinstalled, but
can't figure out why it's doing that. If you've
experienced this, or know someone who has, and know the
fix... PLEASE respond. Thanks.
