Need help in setting up and worldnet.att account for Windows Mail

I get this error, Account: 'ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net', Server:
'ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR login
failed', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC92, when I try to connect my widows mail to my old world net email
account. Before I get the error I'm asked to verify my outgoing mail user
name and password. Each time I enter it I get the same error. Any help
would be nice

Have you set up your email account under Windows Mail to match AT&T's
instructions?

What if any antivirus programs do you have?
 
Worldnet.att.net is a different ISP than the AT&T/Yahoo (former SBC/Yahoo)
service.
 
I'm not sure what your outgoing mail username/password has to do
with checking incoming mail.

If you are using either McAfee or Norton antivirus, try it with those
uninstalled. After uninstalling the antivirus, you may have to delete
the corrupted email account, restart Windows Mail, then recreate
that account.
