Need help in configuring/setting up Outlook

I keep getting the following message and I don't know
what I'm doing incorrectly. I am unable to send/receive
because of the following:

Task 'mail.comcast.net - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to
your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'
 
make sure your incoming mail is set to mail.comcast.net
and ougoing mail is smtp.comcast.net and that you are
using the correct username, everything before @, and the
correct password
