I have an ATI 9800 pro using cat 4.7 drivers and in the game if I have
"Light Trials" on in advanced graphics options within the game all the
screen goes green all you can see if the tail lights on the car nothing else
there is also another option "Light Glows" if you have this turned off then
you can turn the "Light Trials" option on and it works but can't have them
all on.

Is this a driver issue or software issue?

Cheers.

No problems with CAT4.10. Initially there was a texture bug in the game
(some of the ground textures were extremely blocky, no filtering on
them) but the game patch 1.1 fixed that. Have you patched your game?

I running with everything but Motion Blur activated, looks great. Too
bad that the car models (and crowds) are much simpler than in the
original NFSU. Don't know it this is a console restriction or if the
world is so much bigger/more detailed that simpler models are necessary
to get the game running on something other than the very high end PC's.

Hello

I updated my drivers to the 4.11 newest ones installed them straight over
the top of my old ones and everything went slow in windows on reboot I mean
like the refresh was awful taking long time to draw images and nfsu2 would
crash when trying to load so I uninstalled the display drivers rebooted and
told windows where to find updated drivers did this and everything seems
back to normal now but I thought you could just install straight over old
cat drivers?

Can I just confirm that what I am using are the latest drivers and contral
panal.
2D Version=6.14.10.6490
Display driver version=8.03-040610a-016126C-ATI
Control Panel version=6.14.10.5131

Can someone confirm the above are the latest ATI drivers?

Cheers.

btw everything is now working in NFSU2!!! 8)
