I need the Windows 98 Driver for the Diamond Stralth 3D 2000 vid board with 4
meg ram. Cannot find it as the Diamond site has gone away and the site
www.drivers.com only has a link to that site. If anybody has the drivers (vid
driver and controll panel) please post it to a binaries and post back here to
let me know which one to look in..

that really bites. Used to be able to get to them, even up to a few months
back.
Its probably a SiS chipset, so see if you can find a generic driver that
will work at www.s3graphics.com

Did you try Google? "Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 driver" gives many hits...
many are crap but this one looks promising:

http://www.driver.ru/?file_id=13538

The bluish centred text (CKaYaTb) near the botton is the download link.

If a d/l from a Russian site is out of your comfort zone then some of the
other Google hits look good. I may have a version on an old backup CD-R if
you can't d/l the drivers.

The card uses the S3 ViRGE chipset and IIRC, the Windows 98 CD should have
the basic drivers right on the CD. Both the generic S3 drivers and even the
Diamond drivers should not be that hard to find on the net though. Have you
tried a search engine?

Is that an S3 Virge chipset? If so, maybe try these.

I have an original Diamond Stealth 2000 3D installation CD. It is version
1.04 with drivers for W95, W3.1x, Wnt 3.51. I put together older comps for
friends' kids and was stuck several months back after having no luck
searching the web--looking through my old folders of CDs, I spotted this CD.
I don't think I even used it since, I believe, W98SE took care of the
situation with its own driver. If this CD can be of some help to you, let me
know and I'll try to get it to you somehow.

Try S3 at:

SavageNews is also a good source.

Good luck

The Stealth 3D 3000 was an S3 , gobbled up by Diamong back when. Dunno about
the 2000.

I have an original Diamond Stealth 2000 3D installation CD.

The original drivers on the cd were real bad as I remember them. GPF's
all the time. It took Diamond a few revisions to correct it.
