need contacts ordered by last name when addressing email

My contacts are ordered by last name first in outlook but when I go to
address an email they show up otrdered by first name. Have already set
preference for last name first under tools/email accounts.
 
Post your Outlook version. Post more accurately what settings you chose that
you thought should work.
