Need alternative to Norton Systemworks

OK. I give up.

I've bloody well had it.
After using Norton Systemworks for the last 7 years, I've finally
accepted that it's evolved into a crappy product.
I'll save you the war stories -- if you're reading this, you've
probably been through the same %&$#%

Any recommendations for an alternative that works, without killing
your box to install, or a few hours of playing with the registry to
uninstall?

Yep. AVG Anti Virus.

I also used and learnt to hate Norton Anti Virus. Now I use none of
their products.
