Need advice on which movie type to use with frontpage.

HI! I need advice on which movie type I should use with FrontPage 2003. I
see that support for flash media and wonder if this is the way to go? I have
movie clips with sound that I want to insert into a page and have it playing
when the page opens.

what type would offer the best configuration options in FrontPage 2003.?
what movie type is the best for flexibility in editing?

I would really appreciate any views and or expertise on the matter. :)

Thanks in advance.

there is an easy to use add-in for windows media player and that's nice but
it requires the visitor to have windows media player.

I've recently been looking at the possibility of using flash as the movie
display medium. apparently you can make a flash file that calls up and
displays a movie (not sure which formats) and that would be great because
the visitor would only need flash on their system to see the movie.
I haven't gotten into this nearly deep enough to give advice on how to pull
it off but it is a possibility to look into.

HI! I have been trying to work with mpegs and use FP to insert it into the
page but I am having formatting problems.

I don't have these problem with images just these mpegs. I used the insert
picture and then choose video. since I wanted the video to play in a smaller
version I set it to 60% to both width and height with "keep aspect ratio" on
in the picture properties dialog box.

when I preview in FP its ok but when I view it in IE the tables shift and go
out of my desired alignment.I have tried numerous table layout and cell
positions and it still goes out of wack.

I am going to try not using the sizing option in the picture menu and see
what happens. there are other things as well which is making me want to try
it in flash format. but I will try to solve the formatting problem first. :)
