Need a program/recommendation for changing ICO images in EXE's

hey veign I have a ICO file which also includes 256x256 for test
machines running Vista. Paid applications like Quick Batch File
Compiler work very nicely to connect those to EXEs. Resoursehacker
unfortunately doesn't cut-it, and the resulting exe crashes when
executed.

Are there any other open source, freeware or other ways to connect
these newer breed ICOs to a EXEs I am looking for? Kind regards, Julie

I think she wants to use 256X256 icons with programs that have space
for a 128 byte icon.
