Hi all.
When I run Ad-Aware, it keeps getting stuck on one file:
C:\windows\help\sbsi\training\COMPLINC.dll

What is this training directory, is it needed, and is this COMPLINC.dll file
necessary?

Thanks.

Hi LMO,

It's nothing to be alarmed about. The file is part of the initial
step-by-step interactive training (sbsi) that you see when the system is
first booted by a home user. This is common in preinstalled systems. Not
sure why Adaware would be getting stuck on it, but it's not spyware.

Thanks, Rick. Can I delete that training directory, as I have never, and
never will, use it?

You should uninstall using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Deleting a folder deals with data effectively but not with programs.

Hi LMO,

Probably, but I would first try renaming it to see if there are any ill
effects.
