This printer is very slow when operating in XP
environment. Eorks fine uinder WIN95. Is there a fix for
this problem?
 
This is a really old printer and probably parallel port only, correct? The
PC you are using is probably MUCH faster than the old PC which ran
Windows95. You could try entering the BIOS and setting the LPT or Parallel
Port to EPP settings, instead of just bi-directional. This may speed it up a
bit.

But the real solution is to move to a newer USB printer... as the flow of
data through the USB port is much faster than the parallel port.
