NDIS USER MODE DRIVER

I originally posted this under a different forum and got the basic do a web
search response, which I've already done. What I am hoping for is to impose
on someone with an extended knowledge in this topic to provide "childlike
explanations of what this service does. I thank any who respond in advance

(ORIGINAL QUESTION)
Under the thought that " Ther are no stupid questions, just stupid
people".... could someone explain to me just what is the :
ndis user mode i/o driver

Just curious so I won't take it as an insult if you explain it to me in
kindergarten like terminology. Much Thanks

You should have also phrased the question here as you finally clarified in
your other post..

I was hoping you might explain what the ENABLE PAGE TRANSITIONS
link is and how it differs from the REUSE WINDOW FOR SHORTCUTS.
-------

For those wishing to see the answers to the previous thread before
diving in - see the windowsxp.general newsgroup at 12:07AM on
7/12/2005.

Also.. If you have nothing "wireless", you don't need it.

Go to trol Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services.
Scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration.
Double click on it.
Set it to manual - reboot

Hey Shenan,
I'm a little confused by your reply. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I'm
confused by the linking of the IE ? on another thread to this post.
Sometimes I just don't seem to properly comprehend what someone is trying to
say, as in this case, so if you wouldn't mind could you clarify?

I went to the other thread where you posted this and you had later come back
and stated your question a different way....
That is the part between the "-------"'s. I was repeating this here as you
did not seem to state it in your new thread. Every bit of information a
poster gives can be valuable to those trying to help - including alternative
methods of phrasing and later clarification. As you had added this
clarification in your previous thread - I felt it important for others to
see it in this new thread you started for some reason.

I made no direct link - only specified where people using newsreaders could
locate the original thread so they could see the answers that had not
satisfied your needs..

However, if a web page link will help - what I am quoting is response #16 in
the thread as presented here:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group...clueLESS+NDIS+general&rnum=3#973921292e964a74
( Short Link: http://snipurl.com/gbit )

That type of clarification made by the OP (Original Poster) could be quite
valuable to those trying to answer you.

I think your refering to the Dumb Question post by Jim Betts. This wasn't my
post, I was only trying to further question a responder for some other info.
Being a new user I may have incorrectly linked the two together but assure
you that to me anyway, they were 2 completely seperate questions. The NDIS
thread posted by me and the IE settings ? posted in anothers thread. Maybe
thats where the confusion comes from. As a Favor to those like yourself who
have taken the time to help me I PROMISE to review the guidelines and tips
for properly using the forum so as to not cause confusion and worse,
possibly frustrate those trying to help to the point that they stop
contributing. My word of honor to be more informative and proper in my
posting. And no thats not sarcasm, just the truth.

Take Care

Hah - no you are correct - my bad!
Admittedly I was trying to piece all of that together and it wasn't making
sense to me - but I was hopeful it might to someone else!
