Can anybody help me understand this
During initial boot, post screen shows me this

START

ASUS NCCH-DL ACPI Bios Revision 1005
Main Processor Intel Xeon(tm) 2.80GHz (200x14.0)
Logic Processor Intel Xeon(tm) 2.80GHz (200x14.0)

CPU Brand Name: Intel(R) Xeon(tm) CPU 3.8GHz
C1E Bios Supported

Why is my Main & Logic processor shown as 2.8Ghz?
I haven't made any overclocking related changes in the bios..

I haven't made any overclocking related changes in the bios..

Check the multiplier setting in the BIOS. The multiplier
on Xeon processors can be changed from its maximum value
to a lower value, and you may need to set it correctly
to get the processor to run at its rated speed. 14x happens
to be the default lowest multiplier for a lot of recent Intel
processors, so turning the multiplier up should help.
