I'm trying to run the command nbtstat -A [IP address] in my LAN, but I
receive the "Host not found" message.

I'm sure the IP address is correct (PING respond OK).

When testing the command on my own IP address/computer it is OK.

Some possibilities:

1. NetBIOS over TCP/IP is disabled on the remote computer.
2. A firewall on the remote computer is blocking NetBIOS ports.

What happens if you ping the remote computer by name?

The nbtstat -n command shows that NetBios is running an the computer have
address mappings. In TCP/IP Properties NetBios over TCP/IP is activated.
The PING command shows that the connection is etablished.
No Firewall between any computers that I have problem with.
I'm not running WINS.

I hope someone have any tips, because the nbtstat -A [IP-adress] is very
helpfull when checking who is logged on the remote computer in mu LAN...
