I set up a hierarchy of groups for my shortcuts. I change the settings to
expand a couple of the groups, but the rest are collapsed. When I close
outlook, and reopen, it defaults to expand all the groups, so I have to go
through and close manually again. Has anyone figured out how to stop this
from happening? Or maybe how to expand and collapse all in one shot?

Try View, Expand/collapse groups for the last question...

Thanks for the suggestion, but that option isn't available for the shortcuts.
